THE PROJECT
According to the data released by FENABRAVE , for the year 2019, flex vehicles sell thirty times more (approximately 95% of the vehicles sold in the year) than automobiles powered by gasoline alone, dominating the market and consolidating, every year, this type of fuel in the country. In this context, we are led to think that ethanol sales are competitive with gasoline sales, but, according to ANP data, gasoline sales are up to twice as high as ethanol sales.
Bearing this in mind and the fact that, for all types of fuels offered for automobiles, ethanol is the one that emits less CO2 throughout its process, the proposal for this project arises.
We offer a viable alternative to flex engines, allowing the engine to work alternating the type of ignition (by spark or compression) by the working speed range. In addition, our system is also composed of an electric water pump that, working together with an ethanol sensor, allows it to change the engine's operating temperature more easily, adapting the temperature to the type of fuel used.
Our goal is to increase the energy efficiency of flex engines, with an emphasis on ethanol.
In this way, we seek a technology that allows us to use the advantages of both engine technologies (HCCI and SI), focusing on lower fuel consumption and lower emission of polluting gases, especially greenhouse gases.

What?
How?
Why?
Why?
We believe in the use of renewable fuels as an alternative to cleaner mobility.
How?
Increasing the compression ratio for greater thermal efficiency.
What?
Search for a combustion model that allows an increase in the compression rate, allowing the use of gasoline and ethanol.
